This project represents a Scalable WordPress Portal development for the insurance market. Smartia Seguros Online is a massive content hub covering car insurance, life insurance, and health plans.

The goal was to create a dynamic, information-rich portal that could handle extensive content without sacrificing speed or user experience (UX). Unlike standard blogs, Smartia required complex architecture to manage different insurance verticals effectively, demanding a truly Scalable WordPress Portal solution.

- Advanced Admin Control: I extended the WordPress Customizer and Admin Panel. Now, editors can manage links in the main header, blog header, and footer, as well as set subtitles and highlight posts manually.
- Asset Optimization: All assets were modernized. A strict “WebP-first” strategy was implemented for images to ensure fast loading times despite the heavy media usage.

Working closely with the SEO team, we defined a migration path that preserved the site’s authority. The new Scalable WordPress Portal structure ensured that despite the complete visual overhaul, the semantic hierarchy remained intact, securing the site’s ranking on Google.
