Veterinary Landing Page – Concept Project

Project Overview I developed this veterinary landing page to demonstrate my ability to turn a static design into a functional website. This is a concept project for a fictional clinic, focusing on clean code and performance.

The Challenge: Mobile Adaptation

The visual design for this project was sourced from Freepik. However, the original file only included a desktop version. My main challenge was to create the responsive behavior from scratch.

I used my Front-End experience to adapt the veterinary landing page for mobile devices without a reference design. This required:

• Planning the layout changes for smaller screens.
• Implementing a custom JavaScript “hamburger” menu for better mobile navigation.

Technical Implementation

I built this project using WordPress but kept it lightweight:

• Languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Structure: It is a static page, so I did not use heavy custom fields (ACF) or complex databases.
• Interactivity: I used JavaScript to create a popup that informs visitors that this is a portfolio demonstration.

Conclusion This project highlights my skill in pixel-perfect conversion and my ability to solve responsive design challenges independently.
